Course Description
This day-long training program focuses on identifying individuals who may be at risk of aggression and learning strategies to prevent it. Much of the core content is designed to foster civility and promote a healthy work environment by increasing awareness of the harmful impacts workplace aggression can have on patient safety and staff well-being.
The curriculum then shifts to an “Understanding” phase, where participants use research-based information to reflect on their own interpersonal behaviors and teamwork. Through active learning and the review of case examples, participants examine their current assumptions and work to reshape their perspectives based on the training content.
