Our Services

Serving the Sunrise Side: Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, and Presque Isle Counties in Northeast Michigan

Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health Authority offers an array of services designed to help persons with developmental disabilities, adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders, and children with serious emotional disturbances. A person’s eligibility for certain services will depend upon needs established as a part of the person-centered planning process.

Under Michigan law, a person’s or family’s cost of service is limited by an ability-to-pay formula that assures that services provided by community mental health will be affordable. Private insurance you have may cover or reduce the cost of services. Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health Authority also accepts Medicaid as payment in full for covered services. We will work with you and your insurance company to make payment arrangements and answer your questions about costs and payment.
