Information Technology Technician

FULL-TIME | SALARY: $17.21 - $24.27/hr

Overview

As our IT Technician you will assist with the maintenance and support of hardware, software, local and wide area networks, system administration, database development, and IT support. The installation of computer hardware/software, and training on agency systems are also part of the job and may include lifting and moving computers, climbing ladders to access crawl spaces, and being on your hands and knees to set up stations as needed. Troubleshooting and maintaining the helpdesk functions are key in this role – your experience in these areas, and skills in communication and organization will serve you well.

Hours – Full-Time hours are generally Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a rotational on-call.

Must have – Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Network Management, or related degree. Experience may be considered in lieu of education on an individual basis. A valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation, and the ability to work a flexible schedule is also required.
