The Family & Agency Trainer is responsible for providing instruction, education, and training about treatment regimens and use of equipment specified in the plan of services, and must include updates as necessary to safely maintain the individual at home. The service is designed to improve and develop the family’s skills in dealing with the life circumstances of caring for an individual with special needs. Will demonstrate the ability to build trust with beneficiaries in order to help families achieve their goals and work towards recovery and independence. Family Trainer will help empower families and/or natural supports to access and obtain resources in the community, partner with service providers, increase their confidence in caregiving, and move toward independence through skill-building interventions. The Trainer will also provide training for agency staff, contract providers and the community in a variety of areas.

Hours – Full-time hours are generally Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Must have – BCBA/BCaBA, LPC, Masters in Education, MSW, or other clinical license (occupational therapist, physical therapist, or speech therapist).

Salary - BA/BS $21.40 - $29.50/hr | MA/MS $28.99 - $40.06/hr
