Home‐Based Services

About These Services

Home-Based Services provide intensive services to children and their families with multiple service needs requiring access to an array of mental health services. Treatment is based on the child’s needs, with the focus on the family unit.  Services are provided in the family home or community.

Primary Program Goals:

  • Support families in meeting the child’s developmental needs
  • Support and preserve families
  • Reunite families who have been separated
  • Provide effective treatment and community supports to address risks that may increase the likelihood of out of home placement

Home-Based Services Include:

  • Assisting with linking the child and their family to other resources that might provide food, housing, and medical care
  • Providing therapeutic interventions such as family therapy or individual therapy
  • Services to restore or enhance functioning, promote resilience and optimal health for individuals, couples, or families
